Check-In, GPS & Geofence

What happens when an employee is outside the geofence

Outside warnings do not always block check-in; admins can still review location.

Overview

An orange outside-geofence warning means your current GPS reading is outside the configured radius. You can usually still check in. Administrators can review the recorded location on the session.

Common problems

  • Standing just outside a tight radius — ask admin to increase geofence metres.
  • Indoor GPS drift — move near a window or outdoors and retry.
  • Wrong work area pin — admin should correct the site address/coordinates.
