How do I create an account?

Go to crewlyapp.pro/register, fill in your company name, your name, email, and password. You'll be signed in as the admin immediately and can start adding employees and work areas.

How do my employees get the app?

Your employees download the Crewly app from the App Store or Google Play. When you add an employee and enable login, they receive an invitation code by email. They enter the code in the app and set their own password.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. You can start using Crewly immediately after registration. No credit card required.

How does GPS check-in work?

When an employee opens the app, it detects their GPS location and shows nearby assigned work areas sorted by distance. They tap the site and confirm — 2 taps. The app verifies they're within the geofence radius you set for each work area.

What if an employee is outside the geofence?

They'll see a warning but can still check in. Some sites have poor GPS accuracy, so we don't block check-ins — but the admin can see the warning in the check-in record.

Can an admin close an employee's session?

Yes. If an employee forgets to check out, the admin can close their session from the dashboard. The check-out is recorded with a note that it was closed by admin.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. The app caches data locally and syncs when connectivity returns. Employees can view their work areas and tasks even without signal.

What is a work area?

A work area is a job site — it has a name, address, GPS coordinates, geofence radius, and assigned employees. You can attach documents (site plans, safety docs) and create tasks linked to it.

How do I assign employees to a work area?

When creating or editing a work area, check the employees you want to assign. You can also set individual schedules per employee.

Can employees update task status from the field?

Yes. After checking in, employees see their pending tasks. At check-out, they can mark tasks as completed directly from the check-out screen.

What's the difference between the app and the web dashboard?

The mobile app is for field workers: check-in, tasks, timesheets. The web dashboard is for admins: manage employees, work areas, view reports, send notifications, and control everything.

Can I have multiple admins?

Yes. The superadmin can add additional org admins from the organizations page. Each admin has full access to their organization's data.

How do I track expenses?

Employees submit expenses with receipt photos tied to work areas. Admins review and approve/reject from the dashboard.
