Overview
Check-in happens in the Crewly mobile app. It records when you start work at an assigned site, with GPS and typically a live camera photo.
Before you start
- You are signed in to the Crewly app.
- You are assigned to the work area.
- Location permission is enabled for the app.
- You have a network connection for submitting the check-in.
Step-by-step
- Open the Crewly app.
- On Home, tap Check In.
- Wait for nearby assigned sites to load, sorted by distance.
- Select the correct work area.
- Review the geofence indicator (green = inside; orange = outside warning).
- Take the check-in photo with the live camera when prompted (gallery uploads are not used for check-in photos).
- Confirm Check In once and wait for confirmation.
What happens next
Home in the app should show you as checked in. Your administrator can see the open session on the web dashboard or in the admin app.
Common problems
- Still shows Not checked in — wait 10–15 seconds and pull down on Home to refresh. Do not tap Check In again yet.
- Orange geofence warning — you can still proceed; GPS may be weak or the radius may be tight.
Notes
Important.Tap Check In once and wait for confirmation. If Home still says Not checked in after 10–15 seconds, pull to refresh before trying again.
